Visual Timetables
Visual timetables are a great resource used across our school. Each class has a visual timetable which is changed daily to reflect what the children will be doing. The children are encouraged to be active participants in the use of the visual timetable and it is referred to across the school day. We find that by ensuring the children know what is happening during their school day, they are much calmer and happier.
Parents sometimes find that their child can be very disorganised at home. Or, they find it difficult to manage unexpected events. If this is the case for your child, you may wish to use some of the visuals provided below, to structure the routine at home for you and your child.
