At The Oaks Infant School we have an enthusiastic and committed Local Monitoring Council. All LMC representatives work to ensure the effective management of the school, alongside the Executive Headteacher and Head of School. 

LMC representatives are volunteers who contribute a range of skills from a variety of backgrounds, but all with the same aim of continually improving outcomes for pupils.

Our LMC representatives include members from the local community, parents of the school and school staff. LMC representatives have a close relationship with the Senior Leadership Team and staff to provide a source of support and challenge. They are often in school, formally and informally, keeping in touch with school life. This will include a variety activities, from helping to set the long term direction for the school and monitoring school performance.
