Universal and Extended Hours
All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 funded hours a week of education/childcare. For those who are eligible there is also an extended offer of up to 30 hours.
We offer a great deal of flexibility for our families, which enables parents to take either completely free patterns or those with minimal, but additional costs.
A statement is available on request of free early education hours accessed at the nursery, if required.
For those using the Universal 15 hours
Our completely free pattern would be:
5 mornings a week (8:30-11:30am)
or
5 afternoons a week (12:30-3:30pm)
There is the option to do full days which incurs a £5.25/day 'top-up' fee for lunchtime. For example a child may do Monday and Tuesday all day as well as a Wednesday morning (incurring a £10.50/week charge for the lunchtime sessions).
For those eligible for the Extended 30 hours
Our completely free pattern would be:
8:30am-2:30pm everyday
There is the option to do full days (to 3:30pm) which incurs a £5.25/day 'top-up' fee for 2:30-3:30pm. For example a child may do Monday - Friday 8:30am-2:30pm and extend to 3:30pm to be in line with school pick up and an afternoon nursery session (incurring a £26.25/week charge for 2:30-3:30pm each day).
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club runs from 8am in the school hall and costs £3/day. The Breakfast Club staff take the nursery children through ready for the start of the sessions at 8:30am.
