Where in the World?
This term, we have been thinking about our own environment, as well as learning about some other places in the world. We have noticed many changes that are happening all around us as we move through the Winter into early Spring. Although the weather has been cold and wet, we have already noticed some daffodil shoots appearing around the school grounds on our welly walks, and have also been looking out for native British birds, as part of the RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch. We loved our local walk to King George's park, which we compared to our own school grounds.
We have really enjoyed our Power of Reading text, 'We're going to find the monster' and this has led to some fantastic map exploration, story mapping, and creative monster making! What a busy term we have had.
