Calming Activities

Calming activities form the third and final part of a sensory circuit. These activities help children to regulate their sensory input and achieve a calm and focused state, ready for their learning. The activities encourage a sense of calm and relaxation, allowing a child to feel more grounded.

Each child will respond differently to certain activities so it's important to try a variety of calming activities with your child and recognise how they respond.

Below is a link to some calming activities you could try at home with your child.
