This term our topic is 'Whose Planet is it Anyway?'. The children have already been extremely busy and have created some wonderful group information booklets on dinosaurs. As always their knowledge has impressed me. Last week they created posters about looking after our planet, they look wonderful and we will be putting some up in our classroom.
The children have been busy rehearsing for their end of year play and are doing brilliantly. Please ensure their costumes for the play are in school in a named bag by Wednesday 5th July. If there are any problems please speak to me or write a note in your child's contact book.
We had a great day at Wingham Wildlife Park on Thursday, thankfully the huge storm missed us and we only heard a few rumbles of thunder in the distance. The children were excellently behaved and we got to see all of the animals. The chimpanzees were one of the highlights with one in particular taking a liking to our class and putting his face up to the glass to look at the children. Thank you to the parents who helped on the trip.
We have a lot of exciting things to look forward to in the next 4 weeks and I am sure the children will entertain you in their play.
