This term the children will be preparing to move to onwards and upwards to Year One. They will be meeting their new teachers and spending time in their new classes. We will be so sad to see them go as they have all been a joy to teach this year. But we know they will be amazing in Year One!
We will be having lots more fun before they leave us though! We have a trip to Whitstable planned and the Year 2 production to enjoy, so watch this space!
The children had a fantastic time today in Whitstable. We went for a lovely walk along the seafront and fascinated by the 'rock-like' oyster shells. We were amazed at all the different types of fish on sale in the fish market and enjoyed a refreshing ice cream. We visited the RNLI and found out about the lifeboat there, and saw lots of fishing boats in the harbour. We had a lovely lunch together before putting on our wellies for a paddle in the sea.
The staff were so proud of how well behaved the children were, and they were also congratulated by some members of the public and the staff at the ice cream van.
Great job Butterflies, what can you tell Mummy or Daddy about your trip?
