Problem Solving Fun!
We had a wonderful man named Ed come in to play some problem solving games with us. We had so much fun and worked really well together as a team! Have a look at our photographs. We had to make a cube and a square with the shapes. It was hard work and it really made our brains think!
Welcome back after the half term holiday. We hope that you have enjoyed the break!
Our topic this term is called, 'Brilliant Buildings'.
Have you visited any interesting buildings? What are they used for? Where are they?
Don't forget... we always like to learn and find out new things, so don't forget to bring in any photographs/postcards/information you might have about this so that you can teach us!
Do you know any of these famous buildings? Where in the world would you find them? Why would you want to visit them?
We have transformed our role play area in to a church this term. The children have already been enjoying finding about celebrations which happen within the church and have been busy designing wedding and baptism invitations and certificates.
In our topic this term we will be using compass points, map skills and thinking about what different buildings are used for. At the beginning of March we will be taking part in an architect workshop to 'build big'.
Reports will be sent home at the end of March and we look forward to meeting with you at Parent's Evening to discuss them.
