Happy New Year! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday and enjoyed spending time with your friends and family. We would also like to thank you all for the lovely gifts.
We are looking forward to beginning our Term 3 topic 'Roar! Moo! Squeak!'. We will be continuing our work on the Seasons, learning about many types of animals and thinking about how to care for them and what they need to survive. We will study different areas in the world, thinking about how the climate affects the animals' habitats. We will develop this further by learning about world explorers and different printing techniques used around the world.
Our Literacy work will also be linked to the topic, using books set in different places such as 'Under and Over the Snow' and 'Handa's Hen', through these texts we will study non-fiction features as well as continuing our work on narrative.
This term we also have Safer Internet Day this is part of a week of activities focusing on using technology safely and respectfully.
