Look at the amazing Poppies we made for Remembrance Day!
We put the Poppies out in the woods for everyone to see. We loved looking at the amazing creations the whole school had made.
This term our topic is 'Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?'
Is he really as big and as bad as we think? Where does he live? What's his name? Wagtails are full of lots of exciting questions that we can't wait to answer together! If you find out any information about the Wolf then please bring it into class to share.
This term we will be enjoying writing week and sharing the book 'Where the Poppies now Grow' by Hilary Robinson and Martin Impey. This beautiful story is written in rhyme and links nicely to remembrance day on 11th November. Why not visit your local library and see if you can find the book to share with your family at home?
Our class bear Monty has been having some amazing adventures with some members of Wagtails class. He's been shopping, motorbike racing and even to a wedding! Monty loves spending time with the class and is very excited about all of the adventures he has to come! Thank you Wagtails for taking good care of him.
In Science we will be learning about our senses and using them to perform simple investigations. We will be making predictions and evaluating our work.
A Little Challenge for You...
Can you name any of our senses? Can you think of a senses experiment to try at home with your family? Can you think of an experiment we could try in class? Let us know what happens! We can't wait to hear about your exciting ideas!
