Safer Internet Day 2019
The children, staff and parents spent time thinking about how to stay safe online. All of us dressed up as superheroes, just like SID the Safer Internet Day hero. We had a whole school assembly where Mrs Wynn shared a story about not sharing any personal information. Take a look at some of the posters we made about keeping safe online.
We had a parents workshop which taught the families how to keep the children safe but also asked them to think about what they were like as 'Tech role models'. Parents made pledges about things they would change to be even better role models.
It was a fabulous day!
In teams, Year 2 designed and made chocolate treats to sell to raise money for the Fair Trade Foundation. Each team were judged on their designs and ability to work in a successful team. The winners can be seen below, but well done everyone because Year 2 raised around £100 for the charity!
